This is the ink drawing I created based on he Pencil sketch below... to make this I blew up the pencil art about 400% and drew this right on top! Added all of the detail and tweaked out the character during this phase.

Just a quick detail of the final color artwork showing the half-tone overprinting color method I've used here. The appearance of smooth color gradation is achieved by overprinting transparent inks directly over top of the other colors combined with the finely controlled placement of the half-tone patterns used to actually apply the layers!
